    Brett Brodnax
    President & Chief Executive Officer
    Brett joined USPI in 1999. Since then, he has served as Senior Vice President (SVP), Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Development Officer and President. Brett became Chief Executive Officer in November 2018. Prior to joining USPI, Brett was an Assistant Vice President (AVP) at Baylor Health Care System. Brett is a graduate from Texas A&M where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering. He also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at Dallas.

    Chief Financial Officer
    Owen joined USPI as Chief Financial Officer in May 2019. Prior to joining USPI, he served as Managing Director and the head of the Healthcare Real Estate practice at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Owen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

    Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
    Margie serves as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Tenet Hospital Operations, Tenet Physician Resources (TPR), and USPI. Prior to joining Tenet, she spent 27 years in senior HR leadership roles assisting organizations in a variety of industries to design and deliver talent strategies and solutions that drive business performance, including her role as Chief Human Resources Officer for Acosta. Prior to Acosta, she spent 15 years at PepsiCo, holding various domestic and international HR leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Global HR Transformation. Margie earned a bachelor of science in business administration from Cleary University and a master of science degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Walden University.

    Peter serves as Market President, overseeing the DFW and Houston markets. Joining USPI in 2007, he has also served as Vice President of Sales and Regional Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining USPI, he served as Vice President, Operations for Innova Healthcare, and served in positions with Triumph Healthcare and The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Peter received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in both biomedical and electrical engineering and his Master’s in Business Administration from Rice University.

    Market President
    Eric currently serves as Market President, West Market. He has been with the company since 2018. His previous role includes Regional Vice President, Operations for Arizona, New Mexico, and Oregon. Prior to joining USPI, Eric served as Chief Operating Officer for Baylor Scott and White – Centennial in Frisco, TX, and other various executive positions in both operations and strategy. He received his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

    Teresa joined USPI in 2007. Prior to her current role, she served as Regional Vice President in Houston, TX. Before joining USPI, Teresa served as Chief Executive Officer of Houston Town & Country Hospital and held several positions with St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System, including CEO of Community Medical Center in The Woodlands. She also served as Vice President at Heritage Health Systems and has held various management positions in both hospital and ambulatory settings. Teresa received her B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from The University of Texas and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

    Eric joined CareSpot in September 2011 and boasts a diverse background in healthcare with almost 20 years of experience. Prior to CareSpot, he served as vice president of development at Renal Advantage. He also served as Vice President at Ardent Health Services, where he provided advisory services on emergency room operations, including work flow issues, and acquisition and divestiture initiatives. Prior to Ardent Health Services, Eric was Vice President of the healthcare investment banking division at Credit Suisse First Boston.

    Chris currently serves as Market President. He has overseen the Midwest region since 2007, and prior roles included Regional Vice President and Director of Development. Before joining USPI in 2003, Chris was with TenetCare, a division of Tenet Health System, where he was responsible for developing and opening outpatient imaging and surgery centers. He also served as Manager, Healthcare Practice for Deloitte Consulting. Chris received his Masters of Health Administration from Saint Louis University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas.

    Chief Nursing Officer
    Theresa serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Tenet Healthcare and USPI. She previously served as Senior Director of Nursing Labor and Practice for Patient Care Services at Tenet. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer of St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Theresa is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, where she served for 21 years on active duty in a variety of clinical and administrative positions. She received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.

    Market President
    Collin joined USPI in 2018. He currently serves as Market President for the Southeast Market. His previous role within USPI was Regional Vice President, Operations in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining USPI, Collin served in various hospital executive roles within Tenet Healthcare. He received both his undergraduate degree and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University.

    Andy was appointed Chief Development Officer of USPI in 2020. She previously served as a Vice President on Tenet’s Corporate Development team, where she was responsible for leading and executing acquisition, divesture, and partnership initiatives at the company. Prior to joining Tenet in 2015, Andy worked at Fortress Investment Group and served in various leadership roles for Fortress’ healthcare REIT. Andy also spent many years in private equity and venture capital, beginning her career at Morgan Stanley in its Alternative Investment Partners group and later joining Insight Equity, a distressed middle market buyout fund. She received her BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Andy is a CFA Charterholder.

    Chief Compliance Officer
    Paul joined USPI in 2019 as Chief Compliance Officer. Most recently, Paul has served as Senior Director, Compliance and Privacy Officer at Conifer. Prior to his time at Conifer, he served in various leadership positions at Steward Health Care in Dallas, Geisinger Health Plan in Pennsylvania, and Lovelace Health System in New Mexico. Paul is a graduate of Ohio State University and received his MBA from Liberty University.

    Stuart Simon, MD
    Medical Director
    Dr. Simon is a member of the Pinnacle Clinical Governance Board and is Co-Divisional Manager of Physicians Anesthesia Practice. He serves as a member of the Pinnacle Human Resources Committee. Dr. Simon has been an Attending Anesthesiologist at Baylor University Medical Center for over 20 years and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He is currently Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at North Central Surgical Center and has been the Medical Director of that institution since its inception. Dr. Simon received his medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

    Dale joined USPI in January 2016 where he serves as President of the Medical Imaging Group. Prior to joining USPI, Dale served as Vice President of the Tenet Healthcare Outpatient Services Division. Before that, Dale was Principal and COO of AmMed Inc. from 1989 to 2007. Dale received his Bachelors in Radiology and Healthcare Administration from The University of South Alabama. He is an active member of the Radiology Business Manager Association and Association of Healthcare Radiology Administrators.
